The Mandala is a spiritual and ritual symbol in Indian religions, that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically. When creating this piece I was meditating on getting my confidence back, both with traditional media (as I have been creating digitally for a few months) and with the future after recent world events. I kept picturing a peacock feather in my mind, which resulted as the final symbol I drew. I hope this piece will give you confidence too.
This piece has many layers of Inktense pencils, watercolor pencils, Prismacolor pencils and ink, so took many hours to complete.
I live in the South West of Western Australia and in the last few years began creating artwork and selling prints and adult colouring books. All my artwork has been digitally enhanced or created digitally with Procreate so that the print quality is high. Recently I have been using AI - Midjourney in my artistic process. The images created have to be refined and the quality improved for printing. I hope you enjoy looking at what I create, please follow me on my journey!
